We’ve been helping clients achieve their athletic goals since 1998, when head coach and owner Aaron Leventhal founded Fit Studios.  We work with clients in Minneapolis and all over the country from recreational to professional athletes.  Notable clients include:

  • Minnesota United FC Professional Soccer Team Head Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Team Sports Scientists
  • National Football League (individual players): Private training focusing on speed, strength and agility
  • National Hockey League (individual players): Private training focusing on power production, lateral agility & skating speed
  • US Olympic Ski Team (individual athletes): Private training focusing on specific individual needs, helping reach goals, and providing dynamic programming
  • NCAA Division I-III athletes (variety of sports): Training camps offered for NCAA athletic seasons individualized to each athlete based on needs, including education on nutrition, time management and standing up to the demands of collegiate athletics.

Aaron Leventhal, Owner & Head Coach

Fit Studios owner Aaron Leventhal has over 15 years of experience developing clients of all ages and abilities. Aaron graduated from Drake University with a degree in Health and Fitness, and earned his NSCA CPT certification shortly there after. While attending Drake, Aaron played for Drake’s Bulldogs soccer team and trained with the Des Moines Menace semi-pro and Minnesota Thunder professional soccer teams.  After Drake, Aaron spent the next eight years playing for the Minnesota Thunder.  Aaron has recently completed the CSCS certification.

Aaron’s passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals allows him to connect with his clients on an individual level. His formal education at Drake and his background as a professional athlete bring an unmatched expertise in fitness. The result is customized training tailored to each client that allows the individual to reach their goals, whether it’s to gain fitness and lose weight or win the next championship.

Lucas Beyer, Coach

Lucas started at Fit in June of 2013 and has quickly become an intricate part of the Fit Family. A graduate of Eden Prairie High School, Lucas played football through college and uses his athletic experience to connect with our athletes, especially our youth. His passion for coaching and Fit Studios is evident no matter who he is training, from pros to youth, from young to old.

Christine Leventhal

Christine Leventhal, co-owner of Fit Studio, is a former NCAA Division 1 track and field athlete and graduate of Illinois State University.  Christine's experience as a competitive athlete lends itself well to her role as Fit coach.  She has helped Aaron train various individual athletes over the years, since they started Fit Studio in 2002.  In addition to completing the Fit Basic Training course, Christine is Level 1 CrossFit certified


Connor Erickson

Conner started working in the fitness industry at the age of 15, coaching middle school and high school athletes in weight training and conditioning. He studied Kinesiology at The University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities. Connor brings a youthful energy, open ears, and a warm smile to Fit, where he loves providing clients with the proper tools to excel physiologically.

Clint Connealy

Clint graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay in 2004, where he lead their NCAA Division 1 Soccer team as a captain and was an all conference player. A graduate of Wayzata High School, he returned to coach their soccer team. He’s also coached youth soccer for the Wayzata Soccer Club and Fusion Soccer Club. He has recently been named Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at St. Olaf College. Clint has worked as a personal trainer since 2014. He has an ACSM personal trainer certification. Clint brings to Fit his wide range of athletic and work experience, positive mindset and a strong desire to help people improve how they feel and their athletic performance.

Tate Tufte

Tate’s enthusiasm for fitness and athletics of all types fuels his love of teaching proper conditioning and form, particularly for high school and college athletes. He spent his college days as a track and field sprinter. He is CrossFit Level 1 and USAW certified. Tate may be the quietest member of the Fit Team, but it makes his compliments and encouragement all the sweeter.
