Welcome to Fit Studios! Our training, both small group and one-on-one, is centered around our belief that adaptation and improvement lie just outside of what is comfortable. All you need to achieve the individual results you want is guidance, a little knowhow – and possibly a push!! – from us.
Summer Training at Fit!
Believe it or not, summer training at Fit Studios is right around the corner. Soon enough we’ll be dodging Comcast trucks in the parking lot & flipping tires in the sunshine! We have lots of summer programs slated to start June 9th! Along with our regular group training times, which can be found under the Schedule/Sign-up tab above, we’ll have:
- NCAA Preparatory Training: Our gold standard in making sure you’re ready to blow your preseason fitness tests out of the water when August rolls around. Over 8 weeks this summer, athletes will train 5 days a week, with 3 days consisting of two 1-hour sessions — much like the two-a-day trainings you’d see at a college athletics preseason.* Contact Aaron or Caitlin for more details about schedule, training & cost.
*This season, we’re offering options that offer more flexibility for those of you who can’t make the full program work. Contact us for details about these alternatives.
- Training Together: We’ve seen a jump in our youth athletes over the past year & we’re noticing that many of them have adult counterparts (i.e. mom & dad ;)) that also train with us. We want you to be able to kill two birds with one stone & save on that babysitter money by training together! Rest assured, the adult session will be run separately of the youth session so there’s minimal fear of embarrassment of training with mom. Contact Aaron or Caitlin for more details about time & cost for “Training Together” options.
- Fit Goes Wild: This summer, we’ll be running some off-site workouts in various locations around the city like Lake Calhoun or Stone Arch Bridge! Stay tuned for more details about these as we look to move our training from our home out into the big bright world!
- Friday Throwdowns: Who wouldn’t want to spend their Friday or Saturday night crushing through a great workout followed by food?? We’re looking forward to hosting weekend night workouts that will be followed by grilling out in the parking lot with food & drinks. You can be sure we’ll keep it pretty clean but the occasional indulgence doesn’t hurt us, right? What a great way to build our sense of community & possibly introduce new athletes to what is best about Fit training!
FIT goes to LA & London with MUFC
We have started the season with Minnesota’s very own professional soccer team! Many of you saw the team in training last week with us as part of their preseason training. We are looking forward to many exciting opportunities upcoming including trips to both L.A. & London.
In LA the team will play friendly matches against UC-Fullerton, the Galaxy reserves & cap their trip off with a match in StubHub Stadium against the LA Galaxy first team. That’s Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane & Co., people.
In London, the team will work in the Tottenham Hotspur training facility with friendly matches against four different English Second Division Teams, including Derby County.
The team kicks off the regular season April 12th against the San Antonio Scorpions in Texas with their home opener on April 26th at the NSC in Blaine against FC Edmonton. For their full season schedule & tickets click here!
