Yoga + Mobility Challenge

WHEN: Every Wednesday in January from 7-8p WHO: Open to current Fit Studio members and newbies COST: Free for January Membership Trial Fit’ers. All others: $15 per class if you prefer to drop-in, $60 to participate in the month-long challenge. Join us for the workout from 6-7p before yoga and get both for only $20, or $80 for 4 workouts and 4 yoga classes in January. Current Fit members can bring a friend and both of you will receive a discounted rate of $10 per class or $40 for the challenge. Want to join us for a workout before yoga? For only $20 you can get a great workout and yoga class in, or $80 for all four weeks - 4 workouts and 4 yoga classes for $80, not a bad deal! (Discounts also apply if you are a student, teacher or veteran). January membership Trial can join the challenge or attend any of the classes for FREE! Yoga is as an important complement to any kind or level of athletic training and while the benefits of yoga are many for athletes, the key is understanding how best to incorporate yoga into your training in order to maximize performance, increase flexibility, and prevent injuries. This workshop will give you a practical approach to yoga that you can easily integrate into your training. We will explore poses and sequences which help warm up the body and are effective prior to your workout, as well as restorative poses that relax the muscles and restore full range of motion following your workout. The challenge is open to Fit Studio regulars and newbies alike. At the first class we'll do several flexibility and mobility tests which will be repeated at the final class. You'll be amazed at what progress you can make in just 4 weeks when you incorporate yoga into your training! Classes will be held Wednesday evenings from 7-8p during the month of January. Feel free to join us for a killer workout from 6-7p and stick around for some yoga. Challenge participants will receive a weekly email with poses to practice on their own throughout the week.
